Not a new poem. Just found it.
FOLLOW THE LEADER
The border needs to be secured
Those Mexican beans we’ll make them jump,
They take our jobs, they’re uninsured,
So says the vitriolic Trump.
“Their government sends them to our land
They treat us like their favorite chump,
Just vote for me, I’ll take a stand,”
So says the overbearing Trump.
The rapists, killers they export
And all the felons they try to dump
“We’ll take no more we will deport,”
So promises the bigot Trump.
“To those who say my hair’s a mess,
I love the wave, I hate the clump,
But Rogaine failed, I must confess,”
Admits the aged, balding Trump.
Now turning to the Middle East
Where Saudis rule the oil pump,
“I’ve got a plan to tame the beast
called ISIS,” claims the godlike Trump.
If Afghans balk and won’t behave,
Refuse to act, sit on their rump,
“We’ll bomb them back to Osama’s cave,”
So says the self-important Trump.
The raucous crowds, unwitting herd,
They praise his taunts while on the stump,
Opponents cringe, don’t say a word
“They’re cowards,” claims the pompous Trump.
When workers seek a better wage,
A salary boost, financial bump,
His sure response, while in a rage,
“You’re fired,” sniffs the mighty Trump.
His rabble-rousing way of talk
Recalls a leader we could lump
With him, since Reagan was a hawk
Who paved the way for master Trump.
Though not possessed of Gipper’s style,
His scorn’s not chic like Ron’s harrumph,
Constituents they both beguile,
“I’ll win,” says the demented Trump.
From ‘welfare queens’ to ‘nation of takers’
The torch has passed from dear old Ronald,
Trump learned it from the best of fakers
We cringe at demagogic Donald.
